You’ll have full private access to The Bin via a smart lock on the front door, along with the freedom to explore the surrounding 6 acres of Hill Country beauty.
While there are a couple of other guest units on the property, each is thoughtfully placed 150′-200′ from the other for privacy with the Bin having a unit on just one side. We simply ask that you respect the peace and quiet of fellow guests during your stay.
I’ll respect your privacy during your stay, but I’m just a text or call away if you need anything at all. Whether it’s local dining tips, the best Hill Country wineries, or hidden hiking spots, I’m happy to help make your getaway extra special.
You’ll also receive a link to my personal guidebook with curated suggestions for food, drinks, and things to do nearby.
Nestled in the hills above Fredericksburg, 20 minutes from downtown, you can see wild life and stars and possibly even fireflies. You’ll feel like you’ve gotten away from it all, yet our neighbors are Alamo Cafe, Old Tunnel State Park and a couple of wineries. You may choose to head to downtown Fredericksburg, Johnson City or even Austin, but you may also decide to just stay in the area and soak in the quiet, restful nature of it all while visiting our amazing neighborhood businesses. It’s truly glamping at it’s best!
You’ll arrive on a gravel road and have access to one parking space in front of the container. You’ll enjoy walks and can even walk to the Alamo Cafe and Old Tunnel State Park but you’ll want to drive to further destinations.

Industrial Style Meets Texas Hill Country Peace
Set high in the Alamo Springs hills, the Bin at Hill Country Soulcation blends modern, industrial design with the raw beauty of Texas Hill Country. This repurposed shipping container sits on 6 private acres filled with wildflowers, native plants, and grazing deer—just a short drive from Old Tunnel State Park (home to seasonal bat flights), Grapetown Vineyard, and the cult-favorite Alamo Springs Café for burgers and cold beer.
Although it feels remote, the Bin is only 20 minutes from Fredericksburg, where you’ll find German-inspired charm, boutique shopping, and some of the best wine tasting in the Hill Country. Whether you’re exploring scenic backroads, hiking nearby trails, or relaxing in the private hot tub back at the Bin, this is a retreat that delivers both adventure and stillness.
Ideal for couples or solo travelers seeking a peaceful escape with a touch of edge, the Bin offers front-row seats to stunning sunsets and wide-open skies, perfect for stargazing in total quiet.
