Located just minutes from downtown Fredericksburg, the Dome gives you easy access to award-winning wineries, Enchanted Rock, and Old Tunnel State Park (bat watching!). Grab a burger at the iconic Alamo Springs Café, or simply stay in and enjoy the peace and quiet under the stars.
You’ll have private access to the Dome via a key in a lockbox near the front door- no need to meet anyone at check-in. During your stay, feel free to explore our 6-acre property during daylight hours and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. You’re also welcome to use the shared outdoor dining area; we just ask that you please be mindful of other guests’ privacy so everyone can fully relax and unwind.
While I prefer to keep communication through our direct booking website, you will all have my phone number and can or text in the case of an emergency. I am also more than happy to help you decide where to eat, drink and play so please let me know if you need any recommendations.

Our pathways and gravel roads are maintained, but we let nature grow freely between domes to preserve the landscape and enhance guest privacy.

We do offer WiFi, but being in the Hill Country, signal strength can vary. We recommend unplugging when you can — the stars are better than your screen anyway.

Walk or drive a bit further to Old Tunnel State Park, where you can hike the trails and watch thousands of bats emerge at dusk during summer months—one of the area’s most unique experiences.
Love wine? You’re in luck. Grapetown Winery, known for live music and local pours, is right down the road. And when you’re ready to explore town, downtown Fredericksburg is just a 20-minute drive away, offering historic architecture, German heritage, boutique shopping, and award-winning wine tasting rooms.
