Our sweet Sherwood Forest neighborhood, named after famed Robin Hood with each of the streets named after beloved characters, began as a walnut plantation with one large plantation style house and a ton of land and walnut trees. In 1960 it was developed with 2 and 3 bedroom ranch style homes and has remained one of the premier neighborhoods in Santa Rosa.
A prime location for everything- wine tasting just 10 minutes away, a short 20 minute drive to Sonoma or Healdsburg and within walking distance to shopping, dinining and coffee in downtown Santa Rosa or Montgomery Village. And while Santa Rosa is in the middle of wine country, if beer is more your thing, be sure to visit Russian River, Bear Republic and Lagunitas breweries.
The neighborhood is quiet, safe and full of families with friendly neighbors walking their dogs and pushing strollers. And while we can’t guarantee it will never happen, because we’re on the hospital power grid, we have never lost power during PG&E’s Public Safety Power Shutoffs (an absolute must to look for when renting in our area).

This is a quiet neighborhood. We love our neighbors and they love us so please help us keep it that way. No parties or gatherings that exceed your registered guest occupancy limit. Only registered guests and vehicles allowed on property. We welcome babies but they must be included in the registered occupancy count so that we can give the proper head count to authorities in case of an emergency.
No smoking of any kind including vaping, in or around the property.
We love furry friends however we keep our property pet free.
Per city ordinance, quiet hours are 9pm-8am
Per city ordinance there is no outdoor amplified music permitted at any time.
4 cars maximum (3 off street, 1 on street)
No commercial business of any kind, including photo shoots, without prior approval. Please contact us for fees if interested.
Up in the hills above the wineries on Hwy 290 and 20 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. It’s the perfect combination of out in the middle of nowhere and just close enough.
